An extraordinary appointment on Y&S with Asia Pacific Powerboats, on Wednesday 25 August at 7:15 p.m. Today, Offshore Powerboat Racing has developed into one of the most well-established water sports in Australia and New Zealand and it is followed by a wider public. An ultimate “motorsport on water” made by a fleet of super boats boasting sleek looks and high speeds: they thunder across the water at 180 km/h. The NZ Offshore Championship takes place across a number of picturesque locations throughout the North Island and New Zealand. This compelling race is divided into two categories: boats competing in the Superboat, Superboat Lite and Sport 100 Classics for the 100 mile title; boats which compete in the Sports 60, Sport Classic and Formula Honda Classes for the 60 mile event. A true event hosted by the most exciting locations which offer challenging courses.
